July 3, 2023 Release Notes

Changes and enhancements

  • To prevent confusion, we added informational messages to the Allowed prefixes from cloud field when creating Cloud Router connections to AWS or Google Cloud while using access keys.

    • For Google: The advertised ip ranges specified in the Google Cloud Router will be synchronized with the BGP prefix set from the cloud side. Also, the advertise mode will be set to ‘CUSTOM’.
    • For AWS: The allowed prefixes specified in the Direct Connect Gateway Association will be synchronized with the BGP prefix set from the cloud side.
  • When adding cloud credentials for AWS and Google Cloud, you will now see a link to the documentation for creating the required access keys. Ensure you verify that you are associating the appropriate permissions with the cloud credentials.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where, when provisioning a Cloud Router connection AWS and using an access key, the Allowed prefixes from cloud was auto-populated with the subnet prefix rather than the VPC prefix.
  • When fetching point-to-point connection details through the API, the API was including an unnecessary location=false parameter.
  • Quick Connect services were not using the default company name rather than the name specified under Displayed Company Name in the marketplace settings.
  • Fixed an issue where users were not able to copy IP addresses from fields in the BGP Settings window.
  • Ensured that Quick Connect services use the same visibility settings as other marketplace services, and are findable using the routing ID.
  • Fixed an issue where the port selection workflow was breaking if it took too long.
  • Fixed an issue where CSV downloads via the API were not working correctly due to a missing header.
  • Fixed an issue with IBM CIDR parameters.
