Ethernet Service Specifications
The PacketFabric network is an Ethernet-based platform that facilitates direct, private, and secure interconnections between any two or more participants in a cost-effective, reliable, and highly scalable manner.
We do this by implementing MEF-compliant Ethernet carrier technologies and techniques, which are controlled by automation systems that have been developed in-house, specifically for PacketFabric’s network.

Ethernet Private Line (EPL) Service
PacketFabric’s Ethernet Private Line (EPL) Service is a more reliable, flexible, and higher bandwidth alternative to traditional private lines. EPL service enables customers to use any VLANs or Ethernet control protocol across the service, without coordination from PacketFabric.

Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) Service
PacketFabric’s Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) service provides an Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) between two customer locations. This is similar to an Ethernet Private Line service, but with the added flexibility to multiplex multiple services (EVCs) on a single UNI at the customer interface.
